The Polish parcel locker firm InPost delivered over a billion parcels in 2024, the company said in a report on Tuesday.The report said that in the previous year InPost delivered over 22 percent more packages than in 2023.In Poland alone, the company handled more than 709 million parcels in 2024.For the first time in its history, InPost crossed the threshold of over a billion serviced parcels in 2024, reaching the level of 1.09 billion, which marks a year-on-year increase of 22 percent.In its record business day, InPost serviced almost 14 million deliveries in Europe.The company said that the 'out-of-home' points increased to 82,000, of which parcel lockers make up 57 percent. In 2024, InPost installed over 11,500 new lockers.Besides Poland, the company has its operations in Spain, Portugal, France, Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg and the United Kingdom.  (ICE VARSAVIA)
