KAZAKHSTAN-PAVLODAR-PLANT-CONSTRUCTION
Alkylate plant worth 35 bln tenge will be built in PavlodarA new plant will be built in the city of Pavlodar to produce alkylate, a component for high-octane gasoline, the press service of National Management Holding Baiterek JSC said in a press release."This project is unique for Kazakhstan and has been started in the Pavlodar region. It involves the construction of Kazakhstan’s first alkylate plant with a production capacity of 97,600 tonnes per year. This high-scale project will be carried out by INTERTRANS C.A. LLP,” the press release says.The total cost of the project is 35 billion tenge. To finance the project, INTERTRANS C.A. LLP concluded with Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC (DBK) a credit line agreement.This project will allow Kazakhstan to produce high-quality fuel in accordance with the K-5 (Euro-5) environmental standard and also to significantly reduce the harmful impact on the environment.According to the press service, more than 500 work places will be created during the construction of the plant, and 125 permanent jobs during the plant operation.National Management Holding Baiterek JSC, organized in May 2013, is an institute of development in Kazakhstan that supports entrepreneurial activities and development of the agricultural complex and carries out housing programs in the republic. The ultimate beneficiary of Baiterek is the government of Kazakhstan. (ICE ALMATY)
