The Department of Lands and Survey's monthly report, as monitored by "Al Mamlaka," reveals that non-Jordanian ownership transactions saw a 10% increase last year compared to 2023. Apartment sales rose by 4%, and land sales surged by 22% over the preceding period. In total, there were 2,803 ownership transactions by non-Jordanian investors in the past year, encompassing 1,643 apartments (up by 4%) and 1,160 plots of land (up by 22%). The estimated value of these transactions reached JOD221.8 million, marking a 10% increase from the same period in 2023. Out of this total amount, 63% (JOD140 million) was attributed to apartment sales, while 37% (JOD81.5 million) was from land sales. Iraqi investors led the non-Jordanian ownership transactions with a total of 628 properties, followed by Syrian investors with 507 properties.
