Kazakhstan to export up to 127,00 tonnes of oil to Germany in Jan 2025National Company KazTransOil (KTO) plans to deliver up to 127,000 tonnes of Kazakh oil to Germany in January 2025, the company told Interfax-Kazakhstan."According to the oil transportation schedule approved by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in January 2025 KazTransOil JSC is to pump up to 127,000 tonnes of Kazakh oil through the Ozen-Atyrau-Samara oil pipeline to PJSC Transneft’s pipeline system for further delivery to Germany, provided that the shippers supply the requested volume of oil for transportation through KTO’s pipeline system," the company said.KazTransOil did not specify the annual volume of crude oil that will be delivered to Germany this year."Deliveries of Kazakh oil in this direction will be carried out in accordance with the oil transportation schedule approved by the Ministry of Energy based on shippers' orders," KTO said.Kazakhstan plans to export 1.2 million tonnes of oil to Germany in 2025, the press service of the Energy Ministry told Interfax-Kazakhstan earlier.In 2024, Kazakhstan exported about 1.5 million tonnes of oil to Germany, according to information provided by KTO earlier.In 2023 Kazakhstan started to ship oil to Germany via the Transneft pipeline system towards the Adamowo-Zastawa oil delivery point. The republic delivered a total of 993,000 tonnes in the twelve months of 2023, using crude oil from Karachaganak Petroleum Operating.President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said earlier that Kazakhstan was ready to expand its exports to the German market, and Energy Minister Almasadam Satkaliyev said that Germany had asked Kazakhstan to increase oil exports from today’s 1.2 million to 2.5 million tonnes a year.
