Saudi Arabia is rapidly advancing with numerous new infrastructure developments aligned with the Vision 2030 agenda, set by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. These technological, sustainable, and innovative designs showcase some of the most exciting and extraordinary projects the kingdom has to offer. At Construction Week, we aim to highlight Saudi Arabia’s strategies and ambitions to tackle climate change through green infrastructure initiatives and innovative designs at our KSA Summit in Riyadh, scheduled for February 2025, with the date and venue yet to be confirmed. The summit will feature three panel discussions, fireside chats, and presentations on various topics, bringing together some of the industry’s most prominent figures to share their insights. Our panel will discuss Saudi’s green building movement, specifically the shift to Carbon-Neutral Cement and other alternatives. The second panel discussion will explore the intersection of traditional architecture and modern green design. The panel will explore how Saudi Arabia plans to balance cultural heritage with sustainability requirements. The final discussion will delve into the various stakeholders bearing the costs of going green, examining the balance of responsibilities among governments, developers, and end-users. The summit will be a half-day event which will run from 8:30am-1:00pm, with a 25 minute refreshment break after the second panel discussion.
