Kazakhstan to start producing shale oil in 2025Kazakhstan plans to produce first shale (tight) oil in 2025, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov said."The first shale oil is expected to be produced by Kazakhstan this year. This will give additional impetus for investment in the oil and gas industry," Bektenov said at an expanded meeting of the government on Tuesday. (ICE ALMATY)
