Minister of Oil Mr. Hayan Abdul Ghani received an Italian business delegation this week, led by Ms. Chiara Franchini, Deputy Head of Mission at the Italian Embassy in Baghdad.The visiting delegation also included:Mr. Carlo Lombardi, Director of Italian energy company STP Studi Tecnologie Progetti S.p.A.;Mr. Franco Pigiocchi, Financial Director of STP;Mr. Ahmed Hassan Al-Araji, Director of Kafa'at Baghdad Engineering Company and STP's representative in Iraq.The meeting focused on exploring avenues for joint cooperation in the oil, gas, and energy sectors. The discussions aim to strengthen the partnership between Iraq and Italy, promoting advancements in energy infrastructure and development.In 2009, STP acquired LSTK, and Iraqi EPC contractor. The company has also carried out projects at Baghdad's Dora Refinery. (ICE AMMAN)
