First Samsung TVs assembled in Kazakhstan to hit market in Q2 2025The Kazakh government announced on Sunday that the first Samsung TVs assembled in Kazakhstan are set to hit the market in the second quarter of 2025.Deputy Prime Minister Roman Sklyar met with Eugene Chung, President of Samsung Electronics Central Eurasia, where they signed an agreement between Samsung Electronics Central Eurasia and Silk Road Electronics. "This agreement paves the way for Kazakhstani-assembled Samsung TVs to debut as early as Q2 2025," as per the statement.The government’s press release emphasized that the project aims to bolster the country’s manufacturing sector and create new, high-skilled job opportunities. The meeting also focused on enhancing collaboration in home appliance production and fostering closer industrial ties.Previously, Silk Road Electronics had announced its partnership with Samsung Electronics to manufacture TVs in Kazakhstan. The partnership will include Samsung’s current TV models, including its premium series. Production will take place at Silk Road Electronics’ facility in Saran, located in the Karaganda Region.
