Kazakhstan to ship 63 mln tonnes of oil via CPC in 2025Kazakhstan's national company KazMunayGas (KMG) intends to ship 63 million tonnes of oil through the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) pipeline system in 2025, according to KMG's materials for the board of Kazakhstan's Energy Ministry.In 2024, 56 million tonnes of oil will be transported via the CPC, according to the slides accompanying the report by KMG deputy chairman Kurmangazy Iskaziyev. In 2025, it is planned to export 63 million tonnes of oil, which is 12.5% more than last year."The CPC oil pipeline is the largest channel for transporting Kazakh oil. At the same time, it is important to continue working on the development of diversification of additional routes for the supply of hydrocarbon resources," Iskaziyev said at the board meeting on Wednesday.The CPC's shareholders are Russia and Transneft with 31%, Kazakhstan with 20.75% (represented by KazMunayGas with 19% and Kazakhstan Pipeline Ventures LLC with 1.75%), Chevron Caspian Pipeline Consortium Company with 15%, Lukoil International GmbH with 12.5%, Mobil Caspian Pipeline Company with 7.5%, Rosneft-Shell Caspian Ventures Limited with 7.5%, BG Overseas Holding Limited with 2%, Eni International N.A. N.V. with 2%, and Oryx Caspian Pipeline LLC with 1.75%. (ICE ALMATY)
