JORDAN PRODUCES 27% OF ITS ELECTRICITY FROM RENEWABLE SOURCES
Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Dr. Saleh Al-Kharabsheh on Monday inaugurated the first National Conference on Energy and Mineral Resources, organized by Al-Taj News Company. The event saw the participation of numerous experts and specialists in the fields of energy and construction, as well as representatives from leading institutions and companies in both the public and private sectors. In his speech, Al-Kharabsheh highlighted Jordan’s advanced energy sector, noting that approximately 27% of the Kingdom’s electricity is generated from renewable sources. This positions Jordan as the leader in the Middle East in terms of the contribution of renewable energy to the electricity mix. (ICE AMMAN)
