Minister of Youth, Yazan Shdeifat, emphasized that supporting entrepreneurship and innovation among Jordanian youth is a national priority, in line with royal directives to empower young people and encourage them to develop creative projects that address challenges they face.Speaking on Wednesday at the opening of a "Training of Trainers" workshop organized by innovation and entrepreneurship centers in Jordanian universities in collaboration with Dinark, Shdeifat highlighted the importance of fostering an environment that nurtures creativity and enables youth to actively contribute to economic and social development.The workshop, titled "Critical & Design Thinking for a Leader," aims to equip young people with critical and design thinking skills to enhance strategic decision-making and problem-solving.The minister stressed the need for greater public-private sector cooperation to support innovation and entrepreneurship, considering them key drivers of a more advanced and sustainable future.Dinark CEO Imad Aloyoun said the workshop is part of the company’s efforts to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in Jordan. He noted that equipping young people with critical and creative thinking skills enables them to develop practical solutions to challenges, fostering a generation capable of driving positive change.He added that investing in young minds is essential for progress, emphasizing that providing the right tools and support can open new opportunities for youth and drive economic growth and innovation.
