The Central Statistical Office (GUS) has reported that in Q4 of 2024 Poland’s GDP grew by 3.2 percent on the year-earlier period, which is in line with the flash estimate published by the institution two weeks ago. The statistics compiled by the GUS also show that Q4 of last year GDP growth expanded by 1.3 percent on the preceding quarter, which constitutes a considerable improvement given the fact that in the July to September period of last year GDP growth had reached barely 0.1 percent. Meanwhile, according to assumptions, this year GDP growth is projected at 3.9 percent, with inflation averaging at 5 percent. (ICE VARSAVIA)
