In September 2024 Magnolia Park, Wrocław’s biggest shopping centre, was acquired by Nepi Rockcastle from Union Investment for more than EUR370m, and the mall is facing growing competition from the city’s youngest shopping centre, i.e. Wroclavia, which attracted 17.6 million visitors last year, 100,000 more than in 2023. As noted by Małgorzata Woźniak, General Manager of Wroclavia, despite competing, the two malls complement each other. “We are a lifestyle mall where customers look for entertainment in addition to shopping and treat Wroclavia as a meeting place while Magnolia is rather oriented on catering to families,” she added.
