Bank Pekao has presented its financial results for Q4, 2024 and in this period the group posted a net profit of PLN1,612m, down from PLN1,641m a year earlier, with the consolidated net profit for full year 2024 reaching PLN6.376bn, down from PLN6.659bn in 2023. Commenting on the group’s performance, CEO Cezary Stypułkowski has said that in terms of financial performance, 2024 was a solid year, with record new account openings and credit card sales. “However, Pekao has the potential to be an even more successful bank,” he emphasised.
