THE Philippines is reinforcing its economic ties with Japan and Hong Kong through high-level engagements in trade, investments and industry collaboration, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) said in a statement over the weekend. Last month, a Japanese business delegation from Okayama visited Manila to explore investment opportunities and enhance supply chain integration within the Philippines. Trade Undersecretary for the Industry Development Group Ceferino Rodolfo welcomed the delegation. "The Philippines provides a dynamic economic landscape, compelling incentives, and strategic advantages that make it an ideal partner for Japanese enterprises looking to expand in Southeast Asia," Rodolfo said.
