The Greek Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport announced a tender for the purchase of another 125 new, 12-meter electric buses for Athens' urban transport, as part of the government's program to renew the capital's urban transport fleet, with the commitment of European funds, amounting to 88,350,00 euros (including VAT) for the financing of this specific project, with a completion horizon of the summer of 2026.It is noted that this specific provision concerns new vehicles, in addition to the planning for the procurement of 950 new buses, within 2025, which is already being implemented by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, as well as its supervised entities, O.A.S.A. and O.S.Y.A.E.
