Jula, a Swedish retailer that offers handy people products for DIY-projects, garden and home improvement at low prices, currently operates 23 stores across Poland and as noted by Country Operations Manager Arnold Brzeziński, the chain has the potential to run several hundred stores throughout the country, including in towns and smaller cities. According to Brzeziński, this year Jula will open three new stores in Poland, doubling the store network by 2030. “We do realise that the purchasing power in Poland is lower than in Sweden, Norway or Finland. Therefore, in the long term we need to operate not only twice as many stores as in Sweden, but even more,” he added. (ICE VARSAVIA)
