Popeyes, an American multinational chain of fried chicken restaurants, continues to expand in Poland after last Friday the chain opened a restaurant in Wałbrzych, with plans to open restaurants in Oleśnica, Wrocław, Koszalin and Katowice later this month. As noted by Jakub Aleksandrowicz, Marketing Director at Popeyes in Poland, currently the company operates 11 restaurants at six various locations and soon it will operate as many as 16 restaurants at ten locations. “March marks the beginning of the year for us as Popeyes aims to steadily grow its presence on the Polish market,” he added.
