The Central Statistical Office (GUS) has reported that at the end of September 2024, for which time the latest statistics are available, there were 1,052,700 foreign nationals working in Poland, up from 1,045,000 a month earlier. The figures presented by the GUS also show that at the end of September last year the share of foreigners in the total number of people performing work was 6.8 percent and that the most numerous group of foreigners performing work in Poland were citizens of Ukraine, who numbered 707,900. Finally, the figures show that the share of Ukrainians in the total number of foreigners performing work had declined by 6.1 percentage points compared with January 2022. (ICE VARSAVIA)
