Hungary’s UBM Group to build fodder and premix plants in KazakhstanHungarian company UBM Group plans to build in Kazakhstan three combined fodder plants, with an annual capacity of 100,000 tonnes each, and a premix production facility with a capacity of 48,000 tonnes per year, according to a statement from Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Agriculture.The projects, which will also include a laboratory and a training center, are set to be completed between 2025 and 2027.The new plants will be located in the Kostanay, Karaganda and Almaty regions.The new facilities will reduce Kazakhstan’s dependance on fodder imports, for today the republic imports more than 250,000 tonnes of animal feedstuff a year.The cost of the projects was not disclosed.
