Kazakhstan’s ForteBank boosts net profit by 37.7%, assets by 25.7 % in 2024 under IFRSThe net profit of Kazakhstan's ForteBank surged by 37.7% reaching 160.3 billion tenge, as indicated by the company’s IFRS consolidated financial statements.Net interest income rose by 36% to 262.7 billion tenge, profit before corporate income tax expenses grew by 50% to 174.3 billion tenge.The Bank's assets increased by 25.7% to 4.09 trillion tenge. The bank's liabilities rose by 24.8% totaling 3.5 trillion tenge.The loan portfolio expanded by 32.1% reaching 1.8 trillion tenge, while the deposit portfolio also saw an increase of 26.8% reaching 2.867 trillion tenge.At the end of the reporting period, the Bank's equity capital increased by 32.2%.  to 568.18 billion tenge.According to the National Bank of Kazakhstan, as of February 1, 2025, ForteBank ranked 5th in terms of assets among 21 banks of the republic. 89.01% of the share belongs to the oligarch Bulat Utemuratov.
