The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources announced that it will reach out to Iraqi authorities to renew the memorandum of understanding for the supply of Iraqi oil to the Kingdom, which is set to expire on June 26, 2025. The Ministry added that the Iraqi side will be contacted to discuss renewing the agreement before that date. The Ministry stated that Jordan's imports of Iraqi crude oil during the period from the beginning of this year until the end of February amounted to 688,644,611 barrels.
