Stella Li, Executive Vice President of BYD, the world’s biggest seller of pure electric cars in Q4 of 2024, has said that BYD intends to become a leading player on the Polish electric vehicle market as well as a significant participant in the overall automotive market. Later this month BYD will open ca. 20 showrooms and points of sale in Poland, with the figure reaching 42 by the end of the year. Finally, the VP said that BYD viewed Poland as an interesting location, however, in order to invest in vehicle production in the country, BYD needed to get a full picture of it, including in terms of the tax system, investment incentives, logistics and availability of qualified workforce.
