CANADIAN PROVINCES HALT AMERICAN ALCOHOL SALES IN RESPONSE TO U.S. TARIFFS
Several Canadian provinces, including Ontario, Quebec, and Manitoba, have halted the sale of American alcohol in response to U.S. tariffs on Canadian products. Ontario’s liquor board, LCBO, the world’s largest alcohol buyer, and Quebec’s SAQ have removed U.S. brands from their shelves, affecting both producers and local retailers. British Columbia has also banned alcohol from Republican states. This action impacts stores, bars, and restaurants across Canada, which will be unable to restock American products due to the new tariff regulations. (ICE TORONTO)
