SMALL BUSINESSES STILL OFFLINE
A survey conducted by TrustMate, a provider of a tool that enables building online brand image through management of reviews, shows that only 25 percent of local businesses in Poland have a website. As noted by the institution’s experts, by operating only offline, such businesses more or less consciously cut themselves off from the stream of potential customers given that, as indicated by Central Statistical Office (GUS) figures, ca. 88 percent of Poles aged 16-74 use the internet on a regular basis, i.e. at least once per week. Commenting on the matter, TrustMate CEO Jerzy Krawczyk has noted that in order to build their brand and generate higher profits, small businesses must realise that online presence should be an integral part of their growth strategy.
