Minister of Climate and Environment Paulina Hennig-Kloska has announced that the new version of the Clean Air programme, which entails the replacement of old heating devices and/or thermo-modernisation, will be launched on 31 March 2025, after a four-month pause. As noted by the minister, the programme’s budget amounts to PLN10bn, obtained from the Modernisation Fund, an EU scheme to support the Member States to meet energy targets helping to modernise energy systems and improve energy efficiency. Although the resumption of the programme is positive for instance for installation companies, objections have been raised by other market participants, including Columbus Energy. (ICE VARSAVIA)
