New dairy processing plant begins operations in East KazakhstanA 30-tonne per day dairy processing plant has commenced operations in the East Kazakhstan region, established by Siver+ LLP at a repurposed butter factory site, the Ministry of Agriculture announced.The facility features complete processing capabilities, including four fermentation tanks, cheese vats, and pasteurization systems. It operates a 29-tonne main receiving station plus a secondary 2.5-tonne collection point for small farm suppliers.Current production of 2-2.5 tonnes daily yields kefir, cottage cheese and sour cream distributed to Karaganda retailers and regional military bases.The Ministry outlined the expansion timeline: cheese production and butter workshop upgrades in 2026, condensed milk operations starting 2027, with full 30-tonne capacity projected by 2028.
