Kazakhstan to boost oil exports to Germany in 2025 – Energy MinistryKazakhstan intends to boost supplies of domestic oil to Germany in 2025, Kazakh Energy Minister Erlan Akkenzhenov said.“We plan to add volumes and increase supplies to Germany. The German side is ready to double or even triple the volumes. However, this depends on Russia’s transit capacity and relevant commercial agreements,” Akkenzhenov told Interfax-Kazakhstan.Earlier, the press service of JSC KazTransOil reported that the volume of Kazakh oil delivered via the Uzen-Atyrau-Samara main pipeline into the PJSC Transneft system for further shipment to Germany in January-March 2025 grew by 25.7% year-on-year and reached 377,000 tonnes.Previously, KazMunayGas (KMG) stated that Kazakhstan plans to supply 1.5 million tonnes of oil to Germany via the Druzhba pipeline in 2025. In 2024, the same volume of 1.5 million tonnes was exported in this direction.Kazakhstan has been delivering oil to Germany since 2023 via the PJSC Transneft main pipeline system to the Adamova Zastava oil delivery point.JSC KazTransOil, the national operator of main oil pipelines, is part of the KazMunayGas group and owns a network of pipelines spanning 5,400 kilometers.
