Kazakhstan exported 7.5 mln tonnes of new-harvest grain, 56% more than last year —Agriculture MinistryAs of April 27, Kazakhstan has shipped 7.5 million tonnes of new-harvest grain for export, Ministry of Agriculture press service reported.The ministry’s data shows that grain exports from September 1, 2024, to April 27, 2025, reached 7.5 million tonnes, marking a 56% increase compared to the same period in the previous agricultural year.Exports to Uzbekistan rose by 29.7% — from 2.0 million tonnes to 2.7 million tonnes; to Tajikistan by 50% — from 718,000 tonnes to 1.076,000 tonnes; to Afghanistan by 33.8% — from 201,000 tonnes to 269,000 tonnes; and to Kyrgyzstan by twofold — from 88,000 tonnes to 178,000 tonnes.Export volumes to Iran surged 16-fold — from 54,000 tonnes to 871,000 tonnes, and to Azerbaijan by 111 times — from 5,000 tonnes to 557,000 tonnes.In 2024, Kazakhstan harvested over 26 million tonnes of grain.
