Minister of Labor Khaled Al-Bakkar said on Tuesday that creating one million job opportunities for Jordanians is "not an easy task" and requires moving beyond the traditional measures aimed at creating these opportunities. Al-Bakkar added that the government took approximately 92 decisions during its first six months in office, with an aim to achieve sustainable and distinguished economic growth. He pointed out that economic growth has not yet reached the desired level, but estimates indicate a growth rate of 2.7%, which he considered reasonable. Al-Bakkar predicted that if the government continues its current approach and continues to implement the measures it has taken, the growth rate will reach 3% by the end of this year or the first quarter of 2026, a figure considered more capable of creating job opportunities.
