The Vietnam-Austria High Technology and Innovation Forum will take place on May 16 in Vienna, marking a strategic step in strengthening bilateral cooperation in advanced technologies. Co-organized by the Vietnamese Embassy in Austria, Vietnam's National Innovation Centre (NIC), and the Austrian Chamber of Commerce (WKO), the forum aims to promote collaboration in AI, health tech, semiconductors, and cybersecurity. Attended by top corporations such as FPT, VNPT, Sovico, Infineon, and Dynatrace, the event offers a platform for technology exchange, policy updates, and business connections. It aligns with Vietnam’s national goals, including Resolution No. 57 and No. 68, which focus on boosting innovation and private-sector development. Vietnam aims to become a regional innovation hub, using transformative technologies like IoT, robotics, biotechnology, and quantum computing to drive digital and green transformation. Austria, known for its leadership in core technologies and Industry 4.0, provides a valuable partner in this endeavor. Vietnamese Ambassador Vu Le Thai Hoang and NIC Deputy Director Vo Xuan Hoai highlighted the forum’s importance in facilitating technology transfer, market expansion, and human resource development.
