VIETNAM OPENS FIRST INTERNATIONAL YACHT MARINA IN NHA TRANG
After two years of trial operation, Ana Marina Nha Trang has officially become Vietnam’s first international-standard marina, receiving the international port code "VNANA" from the General Department of Customs. Located in Nha Trang City, the marina covers over 89 hectares (68 hectares of water) and can accommodate up to 220 yachts, including five-star vessels. Built to ICOMIA international standards, Ana Marina features luxury amenities such as hotels, restaurants, entertainment complexes, and full yacht services including fueling, repairs, and maintenance. Since its soft opening in April 2023, the marina has handled over 2,000 domestic and international trips and welcomed 60,000 passengers. This milestone marks a significant step in positioning Vietnam within the global luxury yachting market. The marina is expected to help develop international sailing routes, boost marine tourism, and enhance Nha Trang’s reputation as a premium travel destination. It also opens opportunities to host international sailing races and marine sports events. Aligned with Vietnam’s ocean tourism strategy, Ana Marina will serve as a hub connecting coastal destinations locally and internationally. Khanh Hoa Province targets 11.8 million visitors in 2025, including 5.2 million international tourists, aiming for tourism revenues of 60 trillion VND (about $2.4 billion USD). (ICE HO CHI MINH CITY)
