Kazakh farmers expected to pick 580,000 tonnes of early vegetablesKazakhstan plans to harvest approximately 580,000 tonnes of early-season vegetables in 2025, enough to meet domestic demand during the off-season, the country’s agriculture minister said Monday.“The harvest of early vegetables this year is expected to reach about 580,000 tonnes, which will allow us to meet the needs of the domestic market during the off-season before the autumn harvest,” Agriculture Minister Aidarbek Saparov said at a Tuesday meeting of the government.According to the minister, the farmers in the southern regions have already started picking vegetables.
