Kazakhstan plans 1 million-egg daily processing facilityKazakhstan will begin construction of an egg processing plant capable of handling 1 million eggs daily in August, the Agriculture Ministry announced Wednesday.Agriculture Minister Aidarbek Saparov met with representatives from Thorniko, Ovodan Egg Group, and Shanyrak Group to discuss advanced egg processing development. "Investors confirmed the 15 billion tenge project, initiated by Shanyrak Group with international partners, will launch in August 2025," according to the statement.Saparov emphasized that the advanced technologies will reduce the country's dependence on egg powder imports, stabilize seasonal price fluctuations, and enhance biosafety for eggs used in food and confectionery industries.Kazakhstan currently meets 100% of its domestic egg demand through local production.
