The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) and Pakistan’s Ministry of Commerce, in partnership with the commercial wing of the Pakistani Embassy in Ethiopia, have officially announced that the 5th Pakistan-Africa Trade Development Conference (PATDC) will take place in Addis Ababa from May 15 to 17, 2025.Set to be held at the Millennium Hall, the three-day event aims to boost trade and investment ties between Pakistan and African nations. The conference will bring together high-level government officials, prominent business leaders, investors, and trade experts from across the continent and Pakistan.Alongside the conference, an exhibition will feature a wide range of Pakistani products and services. Participating companies will showcase offerings in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, textiles, food items, and beauty supplies, among others.The event will also include a series of business-focused activities such as a trade conference, business-to-business (B2B) and government-to-government (G2G) meetings, as well as formal dinner programs to encourage networking and partnerships.According to the Pakistani Ministry of Commerce, the PATDC is expected to play a crucial role in deepening commercial ties and opening new avenues for cooperation between Pakistan and African markets.
