Statistics Poland (GUS) published the preliminary GDP results for the first quarter of this year in Poland. According to a quick estimate, the economy grew by 3.2 percent year-on-year. This result beat the median forecast of the economists by 0.1 percentage point. Adjusted for the impact of seasonal factors, the change in real GDP relative to the fourth quarter of last year reached +0.7 percent. The real rate of the economic growth came as a positive surprise.I t is worth noting that Poland's GDP grew the fastest among large EU economies. (ICE VARSAVIA)
