FOXCONN, NVIDIA TO LAUNCH TAIWAN’S MOST ADVANCED AI FACTORY New facility to deploy Blackwell Ultra system, powering innovation in smart tech

TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Foxconn announced Monday a landmark partnership with Nvidia to build Taiwan’s most advanced AI factory.The announcement came just ahead of this week’s Computex tech trade show in Taipei. Powered by Nvidia’s next-generation Blackwell Ultra system—including the GB300 NVL72 platform with NVLink—the AI factory will support Foxconn’s strategic push into smart manufacturing and electric vehicles, per a press release.Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang (黃仁勳) described the project as a cornerstone of Taiwan’s AI transformation and a key part of global digital infrastructure, per CNA. He said the partnership strengthens Taiwan’s leadership in the global AI economy.Foxconn Chair Young Liu (劉揚偉) said the initiative will unify Taiwan’s public, private, and academic sectors to drive next-generation innovation while promoting a spirit of collaboration and shared success.TSMC Chair C.C. Wei (魏哲家) said the high-performance computing infrastructure will accelerate chip development and enable breakthroughs for global clients.
