AI-LED STARTUPS GAIN TRACTION IN VIETNAM

AI companies and startups are rapidly expanding in Vietnam, capitalizing on disruptive technologies and strong government support. In April, AnyMind Group acquired Vibula, a Vietnamese live-commerce agency, to boost its AI-powered commerce capabilities. Vibula will now use AnyMind’s GenAI platform, AnyLive, to deliver automated, round-the-clock live shopping with AI-generated hosts. Meanwhile, Filum AI raised $1 million to enhance its AI-driven customer experience tools, aiming to tailor solutions to local market needs. Vietnam's fast-growing digital economy and innovation-friendly environment are attracting increased investment. In 2024, private investment in Vietnamese AI startups surged to $80 million, an eightfold increase from 2023, positioning Vietnam second in Southeast Asia after Singapore. Experts highlight Vietnam’s growing strength in sectors like blockchain, cybersecurity, and manufacturing tech, powered by local engineering talent. As AI becomes essential to business infrastructure, Vietnam is emerging as a key innovation hub with startups driving practical, scalable solutions for both domestic and regional markets.
