In March 2025, Italy’s trade surplus withnon-EU27 countries amounted to +5,958million euros (compared to +5,770 million inthe same month of 2024). The energy deficit (-3,867 million euros) was slightly lower thanthat recorded a year earlier (-3,985 millioneuros). The surplus in non-energy goods trade,amounting to 9,825 million euros, remainedhigh and showed a slight increase compared toMarch 2024 (+9,755 million euros).Exports to the United States showed amarked year-on-year increase of +41.2%in March 2025.
