Engineer Raed Abu Al-Saud signed on Monday, at his office in the Ministry of Water and Irrigation, the implementation agreement for the Northeast Balqa Wastewater Project. The signing ceremony was attended by the French Ambassador to Jordan, Alexis Le Cour Grandmaison; the European Union Ambassador, Pierre-Christophe Chatzisavas; the Secretary-General of the Jordan Valley Authority, Engineer Hisham Al-Haisa; along with several representatives from the water sector, the French Development Agency (AFD), and the European Union, the project's primary funders. This agreement follows the recent Cabinet decision to proceed with the project, aligning with Jordan’s vision for economic modernization and the strategic water plans for 2023-2040. (ICE AMMAN)
