INDONESIA OPENS US$12.3 BILLION IN INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS TO GLOBAL INVESTORS
At the Indonesia Conference on Infrastructure 2025, the Indonesian government announced it is offering 46 national infrastructure projects worth around IDR200 trillion (US$12.3 billion) to global investors. These projects span key sectors such as toll roads, housing, waste management, and renewable energy. Coordinating Minister Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono emphasized the government's desire for long-term development partners rather than just financial backers. Major toll road projects include the Gilimanuk–Mengwi, Pejagan–Cilacap, and Sentul Selatan–Karawang Barat routes, while clean energy investments are being sought for mini-hydro power plants at several dam sites. The event also highlighted Indonesia’s push for sustainable and resilient infrastructure to support growing demands from electric vehicles, industry, and digitalization. Deputy Minister Rachmat Kaimuddin noted that the curated list of investment-ready projects will be made publicly available, with dedicated spaces for direct investor-developer discussions. The conference focuses on five themes: basic urban infrastructure, connectivity, housing and area development, climate-resilient infrastructure, and financing—positioning Indonesia as a dynamic and open destination for infrastructure investment.Source: https://jakartaglobe.id/business/indonesia-opens-123-billion-in-infrastructure-projects-to-global-investors (ICE GIACARTA)
