Kazakhstan's industrial output grows 6.4% first five months of 2025Kazakhstan's industrial production reached 23.805 trillion tenge in January-May 2025, marking a 6.4% increase compared to the same period in 2024, according to the Bureau of National Statistics under the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms.The extractive sector showed the strongest growth at 7.8%, contributing 10.839 trillion tenge or 45.5% of total output. Manufacturing production rose 6% to 11.191 trillion tenge, accounting for 47% of overall industrial activity.Utilities, including electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply, saw marginal growth of 0.1% to 1.585 trillion tenge.
