Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính’s participation in the 16th Annual Meeting of the New Champions of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Tianjin, China (June 24–26), highlights Việt Nam’s active role in addressing regional and global economic and development issues. According to Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyễn Minh Hằng, the event is a key platform to discuss emerging global trends, promote public-private partnerships, and support sustainable growth. This marks the third consecutive year Việt Nam has been invited by China and the WEF, underscoring the country’s rising international profile. PM Chính’s attendance also reflects Việt Nam’s strong commitment to its Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership with China and its broader foreign policy of independence and multilateralism. During the trip, the Prime Minister is scheduled to meet with global leaders and business executives to strengthen economic ties, diversify export markets, attract investment, and promote collaboration in strategic sectors such as technology, finance, infrastructure, and green development. Discussions will also cover bilateral cooperation and maritime issues, aiming to maintain peace and stability in the region.
