UTTAR PRADESH GETS GREEN LIGHT FOR ₹417 CRORE ELECTRONICS MANUFACTURING HUB.
In a significant move to bolster domestic manufacturing and foster innovation, the Centre on Wednesday approved the establishment of a ₹417 crore Electronics Manufacturing Cluster (EMC 2.0) in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.The ambitious EMC 2.0 project, which will be developed by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), is set to span 200 acres. It's projected to attract substantial investment, with an estimated ₹2,500 crore flowing into the cluster.This new cluster is designed to support manufacturing across a diverse range of key electronic sectors, including consumer electronics, automotive and industrial electronics, medical devices, computer hardware, and communication equipment.
