$62 mln dairy farm construction project launched in Akmola regionConstruction of an eco-dairy complex, Biolife Proprevit, has started in the Akmola region, the country’s Agriculture Ministry reported.Investment in the project totals $62.5 million.The dairy farm will be built on 12.6-hectare in the Koyandy private industrial zone.Biolife Proprevit will produce probiotic- and vitamin-enriched milk and fermented dairy drinks, juices, fruit purees, soups and baby food. The project is expected to create around 100 jobs.The initiative is backed by Exim Finance, an international investment company based in the UAE, which operates in 38 countries worldwide.The dairy products will be sold domestically and also exported to the states participating in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Europe, the Middle East, China, Turkey and Africa.
