Indonesia’s Ministry of Industry is ramping up efforts to strengthen the agricultural machinery sector through deeper collaboration between local manufacturers and research institutions. Emphasizing agricultural mechanization as critical to national food security, the ministry outlined a long-term strategy to enhance productivity, innovation, and competitiveness, aligned with the Making Indonesia 4.0 initiative. Incentives will be given to companies with active R&D units, aiming to boost sustainable growth and international competitiveness.
