JORDAN’S OIL BILL RISES 2.9% IN FIRST THIRD OF 2025 TO JD952 MILLION
Jordan’s oil bill rose by 2.9 percent during the first third of 2025, according to foreign trade data released by the Department of Statistics.The data showed that the kingdom’s imports of crude oil, its derivatives, and mineral oils reached JD952 million, compared to JD925 million during the same period last year.Fuel and mineral oils topped the list of imported petroleum products at JD372 million, followed by crude oil at JD275 million. Imports of motor spirit (gasoline) amounted to JD129 million, while diesel (solar) imports stood at JD160 million. The value of lubricants imported reached JD12 million, and kerosene imports totaled JD4 million. (ICE AMMAN)
