Kazakhstan boosts ice cream exports by 41.6% over 4 monthsKazakhstan's ice cream exports grew by 41.6% year-on-year in January-April 2025, reaching 4,300 tonnes, the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms reported.It is specified that CIS countries and China remain the main destinations for shipments.In the first four months of 2025, Kazakhstan imported 3,000 tonnes of ice cream. The share of imported products accounted for 15.4% of the market, the report notes.The top three countries supplying ice cream were Russia (1,500 tonnes), Kyrgyzstan (1,000 tonne), and Turkey (0,300 tonnes). Additionally, ice cream was imported from Uzbekistan, Switzerland, Belarus, and Italy, the report clarifies.The bureau added that in the first five months of 2025, Kazakhstan produced 23,800 tonnes of ice cream and edible ice, which is 17.1% more than in the same period last year.
