Kazakhstan's industrial output grows 6.6% in January-AprilKazakhstan's industrial production reached 18.989 trillion tenge in January-April 2025, marking a 6.6% increase compared to the same period last year, according to the Bureau of National Statistics under the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms.The extractive sector grew by 7.1% to 8.712 trillion tenge, accounting for 45.9% of total output. Manufacturing production rose 7.2% to 8.803 trillion tenge, representing 46.3% of the total.However, declines were recorded in electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply (down 1.5% to 1.323 trillion tenge) and water supply/waste management (down 6.2% to 151.5 billion tenge).
