Kazakhstan's Business Activity Index slowed down to 50.6 points in JuneKazakhstan's Business Activity Index went down by 0.8 points to 50.6 in June 2025 compared with 51.4 in May 2025, the National Bank of the republic said in a Friday press release.Last month, business activities slowed down nearly in all economic sectors, including to 51.7 points (June 2025) from 53.7 points (May 2025) in the industrial production sector, to 51.2 from 52.3 in the trade sector, to 44.7 from 49.6 in construction, to 48.1 from 48.9 in the extractive industry sector.The services sector was the only industry that demonstrated a growth to 51.4 points in June 2025 from 51 points in May 2025.Readings below the 50-point level mean a sector is contracting.The Business Climate Index, which is an average of the current and future business conditions, also decreased to 11.6 points in June from 14.5 points in May of this year, reflecting lower confidence in the existing business environment and more cautious optimism about future prospects.
